Each November, in recognition of International Education Week, the UR community "meets in another culture" here on campus. This year, our community’s engagement will be with Costa Rica – a growing hub of global connection for UR Learn More About IEW 2024

At Richmond our global engagement is inclusive and intentional: in the classroom, the dining hall, through art and performances, and of course around the world. Our faculty weave global challenges into their work, our international students and scholars share their lived experiences to enrich mutual understanding, and more than 65 percent of recent graduates have significant international experience.

Our office is the partner for a broad range of opportunities within global engagement. We’re excited to play a part in helping all Spiders realize themselves as global citizens at a time of great need for communication across difference.
